Job Description:

Bertelsen Education is seeking a qualified Regional Sales Representative to nurture leads and generate revenue. The ideal Regional Sales Representative has knowledge and experience with a childcare facilities needs for training, they understand the processes to get training, excels at lead generation, relationship building, and helping customers to feel successful within their training. They will be representing the business as they talk to national non-profits and other organizations to improve early childhood education.
The ideal candidate is someone who is ready to learn and enjoys the flexibility and excitement of working with a fast-growing start-up. Strong negotiating skills are a key component of this role. Individuals who can track success and work well in a team will be well suited. This is a full-time remote position. The hours are flexible, however, keep in mind a lot of this job will be doing zoom meetings, emails, and calls, and catching clients during their normal business hours is a requirement.

Objectives:

Represent Bertelsen Education with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings
Research consumer needs and identifies how our solutions can meet them
Meet company objectives through effective planning, setting goals, and analyzing performance data to create future planning
Generates leads and nurtures client relationships

Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute a strategic plans
  • Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs
  • Track, analyze, and present key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to the executive team.
  • Understand/learn regional daycare/childcare training hour requirements and what CEU packages would best meet the needs of prospective clients
  • Emphasize the product to highlight how we solve the customer’s problem
  • Negotiate prices and terms and prepare agreements
  • Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships from past learners, in-person conferences, and past referrals.
  • Generate leads
  • Informational interviews with different state representatives within childcare to understand the industry and what trends are happening

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in early childhood education
  • Child Development Associate - or familiarity of requirements and measures needed to be taken to receive credential
  • Past early childhood advocacy experience

Work From Home

Full time, fully remote, and flexible. You will need to be able to respond to clients during their business hours.
