  1. Recognize the role that educators and parents play in understanding and responding to children’s developmental needs.  
  2. Name at least 5 symptoms of Developmental Delays / ASD that may be encountered with learners ages 0-5.
  3. Describe at least 3 symptoms of Developmental Delays / ASD that they have seen before in their childcare setting, at home, or in the community. 
  4. Recall knowledge of symptoms and ‘red flags’ of ASD by identifying at least 3 signs learned in the course.
