Signing Up or Signing In

  • First, download the Bertelsen Education app from your device’s app store. It is available on the App Store for Apple devices and the Google Play Store for Android devices.
  • If you already have an account with Bertelsen Education, tap Sign In, then click Log in with your email. Enter your email and password used for your Bertelsen Education account to log in.
  • If you don’t already have an account with Bertelsen Education, tap Sign up with your email, then choose Sign up with your email. Enter your full name, your email address, and a password. 
  • After you create an account, be sure to complete your profile by tapping the smiley face icon in the top left, then tapping Personal Details, and filling out the empty fields where applicable.
  • You're signed in and ready to start courses!

Navigating the App

  • After logging in to the Bertelsen Education mobile app, you will see the Home Screen. On the home screen you can go to your courses, learn more about state packages, view tutorials, and take a demo course (with a free certificate!)
  • In the upper right corner you will see a smiley face icon. This is your Profile. You can see and edit your profile information under Personal Details. You can view courses you’ve downloaded for offline learning, and see notifications by tapping the bell icon in the top right corner.
  • The small book icon on the lower navigation bar is the My Courses page. Here you will find all the courses you’re enrolled in. You can search for a course by title or keyword, view courses you’re currently working on under Courses in Progress, view completed courses under Completed Courses, or see the full list of your courses under All Courses.
  • The small badge icon on the lower navigation bar is the Certificates page. Here you will find instructions on where to access your certificates after you’ve completed a course. Certificates are available for download immediately after finishing a course, and they are also saved on your profile and can be accessed at any time from www.bertelseneducation.com.
  • Finally, the small hamburger icon (which is three lines stacked on top of each other) is More Info. Here you can find app and notification settings, and other useful links, like the link to our website and the link to contact our support team.

Taking A Course on the Bertelsen Education App

  • To take a course on the Bertelsen Education Mobile App, tap Go to My Courses on the Home Screen, or tap the small book icon on the bottom navigation bar to go to My Courses.
  • Search for a course in the search bar, or find it in the list of Courses in Progress or All Courses. You can click View All to expand those lists. Once you find the course you’re looking for, tap on it, then tap Resume to keep learning.
  • Now you’re in the course player. On the left, you can see a hamburger icon. Tap it to view the course outline, a list of the modules and activities in the course. You’ll notice that some are locked. You must do each activity in order before you can go to the next activity. 
  • You can move between activities using the arrows at the top of the screen.
  • If you have any questions or problems during the course, tap the help icon in the lower right corner to submit a help ticket to our support staff.

Finding Your Certificates

  • After completing a course, your certificates are always saved on your Bertelsen Education Profile.
  • In the Bertelsen Education Mobile App, tap the small badge icon in the lower menu to visit the Certificates page. 
  • Here you will find instructions on how to access your certificate. Click Go to My Profile on the Web to open www.bertelseneducation.com in your device’s web browser.
  • If needed, log in to your Bertelsen Education profile using the same email and password you use to log into the mobile app. You will see the Dashboard page. Scroll down to the Achievements section and tap on the PDF icon for the certificate you want to download.
  • The certificate will be downloaded to your device.

Yes, it is free to download the Bertelsen Education Mobile App.

How do I purchase a course?

You can purchase a course from our course catalog on any web browser. At this time, the mobile app does not support course purchases. Click here to see our course catalog.

However, we do have a free course on the app. You can also listen to episodes of our podcast, Out of Ratio with Bertelsen Education, and take CEU quizzes on the app. Click here to learn more about our podcast.
